Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania Announces New Board Leadership And Welcomes Five New Board Members
Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania (CISEasternPA) is pleased to announce Karianne Gelinas is being elevated from her role as the agency’s Vice Chair to the new Board Chair. Gelinas succeeds Michelle Schmidt, PH.D. as the nonprofit’s lead board officer. Longtime board member Adrian Marsh has also been assigned as the new Vice Chair of the agency.
The change in leadership coincides with 5 new officers joining their Board of Directors, with the appointment of Lizette Epps, Maureen Gorman, Angela Gosman, Katelyn Mack, and J. Stuart Pidcock.
Karianna Gelinas has been on the CISEasternPA Board of Directors for three years and serves on the agency’s Talent Committee as well as the Executive committee. She is the Vice President of Regional Partnerships and Talent Strategies at Lehigh Valley Economic Development.
Adriah Marsh has been a member of the CISEasternPA Board of Directors for two years and has been a crucial member of the agency’s Finance Committee. He is the Global Head of Administrative Finance for Olympus Corporation of the Americas.
Lizette Epps will be an integral part of the CISEasternPA’s board of directors working closely with members of the DEI Core Team. She is the Lizette Executive Director of Financial Services & Internal Ops for Alvernia University O’Pake Institute. also serves on the board of the Berks Latino Workforce Development Corporation and the Associate Board of Directors of First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union.
Maureen Gorman works as an Associate Attorney in the Reading office of Stevens & Lee. Maureen will work to help grow our reach with the Community Relations committee. She also has community involvement roles with the Berks and Lancaster County Bar Associations, and the Circle of Life Coalition. Both Lizette and Maureen’s Berks County roots will aid in the continued expansion of services in the greater Berks County community.
Angela Gosman is executive vice president and chief human resources officer
for PPL Corporation. She provides oversight and direction for all human resources
functions across PPL’s family of companies. Angela will work closely with the CISEasternPA Talent committee.
Katelyn Mack is the President & Chief Operating Officer at LINC (LEARNING | INCLUSION | NETWORKING | COMMUNITY). Prior to moving to the Lehigh Valley she was vice-president of the Boys of Girls Club of the Peninsula in Menlo Park, CA. She will be a part of the CISEasternPA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Core Team.
Stuart Pidcock is a Principal and Project Manager of the land planning, civil engineering and architectural firm The Pidcock Company in Allentown, PA. Stuart also serves on the board of directors at Wildlands Conservancy and will be serving on the Talent Committee with CISEasternPA.
