Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania (CIS of Eastern PA) announced changes to its administrative team today: Director of Human Resources Tammy Patterson and Director of Finance Roxanna Brandle.

Patterson has been with CIS of Eastern PA for over eight years and transitioned from her role as manager of human resources. In her new position, Patterson is responsible for aligning CIS of Eastern PA’s personnel and organizational plans to create a positive work environment. She is key in promoting organizational values and supporting effective employee relations, job design and recruitment, employment cycle changes, and human resources administration.

“We are pleased that Tammy has continued to grow within our organization. She shows her steadfast leadership and commitment to CIS daily to current and prospective employees,” said CIS of Eastern PA’s President & CEO Tim Mulligan. “We are also thrilled to bring Roxanna on board as a full-time employee. She had crossed paths with CIS in her previous role, so she was intimately familiar with our organization from day one; it was a perfect fit.”

Brandle is a certified public accountant with over 13 years of experience in the industry. As finance director, she oversees CIS of Eastern PA’s financial operations. Her duties include the design and implementation of strategies to ensure compliance with internal fiscal policies, grant and donor regulations and requirements, and external audit requirements. Brandle previously worked as a manager at Campbell, Rappold, and Yurasits LLP, specializing in audits of nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans. She is active in industry organizations, belonging to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and was the former treasurer of the Whitehall Area Rotary Club.

The additions to the organization’s administrative team come as CIS of Eastern PA wraps up its successful year-long Building Bright Futures campaign to support its future goals of serving a greater number of students throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. At its 40th Anniversary Celebration on October 26, CIS of Eastern PA revealed the campaign’s total raised so far: $1,059,138.
