Farewell, Kathy!

After eight years of committed service to Communities in Schools of Eastern PA, our Office Manager Kathy Heckman is retiring to embark on the next chapter in her life.

When Kathy joined CIS of Eastern PA in 2017, she brought with her a wealth of experience and an unwavering passion for helping others. She has witnessed the organization’s growth firsthand, from the small office on Lehigh Street to the thriving team we are today.

Throughout her career, Kathy embraced her dynamic and ever-evolving role. Knowing each day held something different, she approached challenges with compassion and enthusiasm.

Whether supporting the team, liaising with donors, or collaborating with site coordinators, Kathy’s kindness and commitment made her an irreplaceable team member who will be deeply missed. CIS of Eastern PA is eternally grateful for the years Kathy has dedicated to the organization. 

Retirement is not an end but a new beginning, and we hope Kathy enjoys every moment as she embraces this exciting new journey with open arms.
